Ninja Express, nestled at 1010 Cass St in Wabash, IN, has quickly garnered rave reviews for its vibrant selection of sushi and authentic Japanese dishes. Patrons describe their experience as a delightful surprise, discovering exceptional sushi in a small town setting. The standout item is undoubtedly the Fantastic Roll, celebrated by customers like Kimberly Laycock for its flavor-packed profile. Kyle L's mention of unique offerings like the honey peanut avocado roll further highlights the restaurant's creativity.
Beyond sushi, the hibachi chicken and General's Chicken have received praise for their freshness and proper seasoning, with Tracy Thomas noting the perfect spice level that avoids the common overly sweet variations found elsewhere. The staff's friendliness amplifies the dining experience, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes multiple visits inevitable. Brendan Malott appreciates the authentic Japanese sodas, which complement the gastronomic experience. Overall, Ninja Express is not just a restaurant; it’s a culinary gem that brings the essence of Japanese culture to Wabash, making it a must-visit for locals and travelers alike.

Would never have expected to find such great sushi in Wabash! It was very fast and tasted great. I got two classic rolls: spicy white tuna and honey peanut avocado. I had never seen a honey peanut avocado roll anywhere, and it was delicious. My family also got a Fantastic Roll, Play Boy Roll, and Hibachi chicken. Everyone loved thier meals, especially the sushis. The staff was really friendly as well and got us our food quickly. Would recommend swinging by!

I eat here often. Both the sushi and the Chinese dishes are exceptional and very fairly priced. Aside from that, the family who owns and runs the restaurant is so nice and provides great customer service. I’m very happy they decided to move to Wabash. Update: I tried the General’s Chicken for the first time last night. It was recommended as something new for me to try. They make it a little spicy, the way is should be! Too many midwestern places just make it overly sweet and without the heat. It was delicious!

The food is really good and the portions are plenty. It can get a little pricey, but it is worth it. The closest comparison (if you're from around here) would be Yamato Steakhouse in Marion. Also they offer dine in, takeout, drive thru and they deliver. I don't know how far though. I added pics of the menu, indoor seating (they have some outdoor too) and some of the food we ordered. We will be going back for sure!!

Food was really good for the price! Rice was warm enough to be fresh, smelled good (which is usually a problem with not fresh sushi). Chopsticks easy to grasp. Music jammable. Nice people. Cute turtle.
